Join Mrs Music on a lively quest where your students delight in the enchanting world of "BOOK AN ADVENTURE" during Book Week 2025!

This 30-minute interactive session masterfully blends picture books and music, fostering a love for stories, melodies, and the boundless power of imagination.

Reading lets us journey to far-off places, meet diverse characters, and gain new perspectives. Imagine your adventure at a bustling farm, diving under the sea, and celebrating the uniqueness that makes each of us special.

Every story is paired with a lively musical activity, featuring handheld percussion instruments and a variety of captivating props, bringing stories to life.

This engaging incursion is designed for classrooms, accommodating up to 35 students per session. You students and Mrs Music will embark on an adventure where reading and music unite to create unforgettable experiences!

This incursion is created specifically to align to the Book Week theme for the year, but is a wonderful session suitable for any time of year with strong links to literacy. The combination of engaging illustrations and text in picture books, together with songs and music, transform reading from a solitary activity into an immersive, multisensory experience, laying a robust foundation for lifelong literacy and a love for reading.
